Adams | Gary Lacey – 2 3/4"

For your consideration is a W.A. Adams 2 3/4" trout reel. This has a 2 3/4" diameter with a 1 3/16" frame width weighing 4.35 ounces with a 1-weight line on it. Bill Adams made some nice hand made reels in the day and later when needed, he had Gary Lacey produce these with some modifications to the original design. This is a Gary Lacey made reel for Bill Adams. The S-handle is fixed to the front plate and both spin in unison. The pawl and spring are set very close to a neutral wind with a slight tone change to outbound and inbound. The pawl can be flipped to adjust for your preferred retrieve.
