Alex:Martin – Thistle 3 1/8"

For your consideration is an Alex:Martin Thistle fly reel. This has a 3 1/8" diameter with a 1 5/16" frame width weighing 7.50 ounces made for RHW. The crazed handle spins freely. This features a duplicate Mk II check. Stamped 5 inside and 5 on the foot. There are a number of rim rashes on the back rim. Overall, there is a fair amount of leading remaining. The the front of the smooth foot has a downward bend to it but still seated on a number of rods I tried it on. Mechanically tight. Comes with a suede bag.
