C&F – CFT-9000 Reference Vise

  • The C&F CFT-9000 Reference vise features include right or left-handed use, rotary function, an almost endless variety of adjustments of various tensions, magnetic jaw, material clip, and a fly holder/dryer. Parts list shows three hex wrenches which are not included.

    From C&F:

    – C&F Link Arm system to change the level of jaw. This can be done without changing angle of the jaw.

    – Rotary Function: Set the centering shaft according to diagram. After set a hook to the jaw, adjust the arm. It is very easy to see the center of the hook. When you want to turn the jaw, loosen the screw of the arm, then turn the handle located back of the vice. This is very handy to check proportion of the fly and to tie Palmer hackle on flies like wooly bugger or elk hair caddis.

    – Left or Right-handed: It can be changed from right handed to left handed use. First, rotate jaw then take off rotary shaft brake knob and install from the other side.

    – Magnetic Jaw: the jaw's inside feature magnet. Hook can be held temporally that way. It makes easier for tier to adjust the position of the hook. This is especially useful for hook size #20 and smaller.

    – A "2 screw lock system" gives delicate but definite hold. It holds from #32 to 5/0 hooks.
