Dingley – Caledonia 2 5/8" Horseshoe Latch

For your consideration is a Dingley 2 5/8" Caledonia fly reel made for "Alex Martin, Glasgow, Edinburgh & Aberdeen." This has a 2 5/8" diameter with a 1" frame width weighing 3.80 ounces. The handle spins freely. This features a horseshoe latch, smooth brass foot, and a caliper and spring. Stamped D5 inside and 5 on the foot. No rim rashes just some wear to the leading. Mechanically tight with no wobble. Comes with a J.W. Hulme leather and canvas case. The photos do not do the deep color of the leading justice. It's very difficult to find these in this condition.
