Leonard, H.L. – 39H

For your consideration is a Leonard Model 39H bamboo fly rod in original condition. The is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 6-weight line weighing 4.25 oz. All sections are full-length and straight. There are some who feel the 39H is a 5-weight.

This consists of Leonard indicative straw colored cane with crimson red wraps. Classic cigar grip measuring 6" in length shows very little use. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat with butternut insert under properly die stamped nickel silver cap. The action is on the fast side of medium-fast but feels like it would serve admirably as an all-around rod. Includes original bag with stiffening dowel.
