Leonard, HL – 7' 0" 4wt. Duracane

For your consideration is an H.L. Leonard Duracane bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 0" 2/1 (made this way) for 4wt weighing 2.75 oz. This is the lightest Duracane I have seen. Feels much like a Leonard 38. Serial number 2301. All sections are full length and straight.

This rod consists of dark impregnated cane with green wraps, also known as a Green Wrap Duracane. The cigar grip gracefully tapers into the cork reel seat which has a nickel silver cap and ring. The ferrule is size 11 with a perfect fit. In my hand, the action is medium and full working. Marked for a 4wt line, I see this fishing a 3wt for some too. Includes the original bag and labeled tube. This rod gives the appearance of having not been fished.
