Phillipson – Paragon 8' 6" 5wt

For your consideration is a Phillipson Paragon bamboo fly rod. This is an 8' 6" 3/2 for a 5 weight line weighing 4.90 oz. All sections are full length and straight.

This consists of medium-toned cane with golden tan wraps. My understanding is these were originally green and like the Granger Aristocrat, they change over time to a golden hue. Full wells grip with aluminum down locking reel seat. In my hand, the rod is medium-fast with a dry fly feel. Resorcinol glue lines. Complete with original bag and composite tube.
