For your consideration is a new Don Schroeder bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 6" three-piece for a 4-weight line weighing 3.70 oz. All sections are full-length and straight. This is a new rod direct from Don Schroeder. Bob Summers says "Don's workmanship is as good as it gets." I agree.

This rod consists of rich flamed cane and golden nodes in a spiral pattern completed with transparent brown wraps tipped with burgundy silks. The agate stripper compliments the wraps and bamboo tones. Cigar grip measures 6' 6" in length. Classic cap and ring over a well modeled walnut spacer. D.G. Schroeder Rod Co. is roll stamped on the butt cap. Super Z type ferrules with a perfect fit. In my hand, the action is medium-fast. Bends deep into the rod. Includes the original bag, labeled tube, and ferrule plugs.
