Thomas & Thomas – Hendrickson 7' 6" 5wt.

For your consideration is a Maxwell era Thomas & Thomas Hendrickson bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 5-weight line weighing 4.75 ounces. Maxwell's distinctive handwriting adorn the butt section.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane with transparent golden yellow wraps which disappear into the cane coloring. The grip measures 6" in length. Up-locking nickel silver hardware with hidden pocket under the bottom of the cork grip. In my hand, the action is medium fast bending deep into the rod. The ferrules are smooth fitting but could use some cleaning to help them completely set. Includes the original bag and tube.
