For your consideration is a Thomas & Thomas Montana bamboo rod – 8’ 6” 2/2, 6wt. SN 5660. The rod is in like new condition. All sections are full length and straight.

Darkly flamed bamboo is complemented by translucent and cinnamon edging guide wraps with black tipping at the winding check and tip-tops as well as black wraps at the ferrules. Customary T&T swelled butt. Nickel silver up-locking hardware over a well modeled, walnut mortised spacer. Completed with a removable fighting butt— the only one Troy at T&T has ever made. Well proportioned 6" grip. The Swiss-style ferrules have a perfect fit. In my hand and comparing to other T&T rods, the taper is on the medium side of medium-fast, strong yet delicate. Original bag with stiffening dowel, brass capped tube, and label.
