Thomas & Thomas – Montana 8' 6" 8wt

For your consideration is a Thomas & Thomas Montana bamboo fly rod in original condition. This is an 8' 6" two-piece for an 8-weight line weighing 6.40 oz.

This rod consists of lightly flamed cane with transparent wraps tipped brown. The smooth grip measures 6.50" in length. Uplocking nickel silver hardware over a walnut spacer. In my hand, the action is medium fast bending deep into the rod. The guide below the female ferrule was bent while placing back into the tube at one point. The line will still shoot through but this could be sent to Troy at T&T to be repaired – fall is the best time to send in repairs. From lack of use, the ferrules could use some cleaning to help them completely set. This rod has seen very little use. Includes the original bag and tube.
