Vardanis, Alex – Baby Catskill Quad

For your consideration is an Alex Vardanis 6' 0" quad bamboo fly rod inspired by a Leonard Baby Catskill. This is a 6' 0" two-piece for a 1-weight line weighing 2.00 ounces. The tips measure a scant 0.0395".

This consists of light tempered cane with amber orange wraps tipped ivory cream – a very handsome combination. The grip measures 4 1/2 inches with cap and ring over a well modeled spacer. In my hand, the action is on the medium side of medium-fast. Very nice varnish work and construction. A nice light line rod from this London, Ontario builder.
