Salter & Grandson – Reel Case

For your consideration is a Wm. Salter & Grandson clam-shell block leather reel case made in Bidford-on-Avon, England which is located on the fabled Avon River. This case uses the same thickness of leather and design as famed leather product maker Arne Mason. Arne's clam shell cases sell for $250+.  This is very well constructed and sold here at a very reasonable price because there is no maker's mark. Appears to be made for reels 2 3/4" diameter and smaller. I was able to fit in a 3" reel very snug.
