Dickerson, Lyle - 7613

For your consideration is a Lyle Dickerson model 7613 bamboo fly rod in original condition. The 7613 is a 7' 6", 2/2, 5wt., 3.85 oz. All sections are full length and straight.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane constructed in a 3x3 node pattern with Dickerson brown wraps and black tipping. Indicative Dickerson intermediates for measuring your catch at 7", 8", 9", and 10" from winding check. Grip measures 6" in length and shows only minor ridging. Down-locking aluminum hardware over walnut spacer with nickel silver butt cap. Ferrules are size 13 with a perfect fit. In my hand, the action is on the fast side of medium fast. On the lower 6 inches of one tip is a precautionary 1 inch clear wrap where there is a vertical crack in a node. This invisible wrap is seen on the lower tip in photo 3 and 4. Includes the original bag and tube.
