Orvis, C.F. – Battenkill 7'0" 4/5wt.

For your consideration is an Orvis Battenkill bamboo fly rod built in 1971 in original condition. This is a 7' 0" two-piece for a 4 or 5-weight line weighing 3.55oz. All sections are full-length and straight. The owner liked this with a 5wt but in my hand, I think a 4 would also be an option.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane with light chestnut brown wraps. Grip measures 6" in length and is very smooth. Down-locking aluminum hardware. In my hand, the action is medium fast. This rod shows very little signs of use.
