Oyster Class – 7' 6" 5wt.

For your consideration is a bamboo rod made by Len Irlacher in a Bill Oyster class. This is a two-piece for a 5-weight line weighing 4.80 ounces. The finish work on this does not get much better.

This rod consists of lightly tempered cane with clear silks for a very minimalist appearance. The modified Wells grip measures 6" in length. Down-locking nickel silver hardware. Glass like varnish. In my hand, the action is on the fast side of medium-fast with feel throughout.
