Hardy Bros. – Bouglé Lightweight III

For your consideration is a rather scarce Hardy Bouglé Lightweight III fly reel in new condition. After the Bouglé Lightweight I & II were a success in the Japanese market, Hardy made the Lightweight III in small numbers for wider distribution. Both winding plate and spool have the teardrop porting. The Bouglé Lightweight III measures 3 1/16" from pillar to pillar and has a frame diameter of 2 3/4" weighing 3.80 ounces. The reel can be used left or right handed – currently set RHW. Includes original paperwork, and neoprene bag with a replacement St. George box from the correct period. Made in Alnwick, England.
