Hardy Bros. – Uniqua 3 3/8, VL&A Plaquer

For your consideration is a Hardy Uniqua fly reel with a desirable telephone latch. This is a 3 3/8" diameter reel with a 1" frame width, weighing 5.65 ounces. The ebonite handle spins freely, and the telephone latch mechanism functions smoothly. This features an unmolested ribbed brass foot, and a Duplicated MK II check. Mechanically tight. For the Von Lengerke & Antoine Sporting Goods fan, this reel has a VL&A plaquer on the back reading "VL&A | MADE FOR | CHICAGO." The drag favors RHW. I feel this can be fished either RHW or LHW.
