This is an early post-fire rod with a pre-fire taper from the Ted Simroe era. This is a 7' 6" 5wt. (some prefer a 6wt) bamboo rod weighing 4.15 oz. Serial no. 535. Leonard indicative straw colored cane with crimson red wraps. Classic cigar grip measuring 6" in length shows very little use. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat with butternut insert under properly die stamped nickel silver cap.
