This was found in a garage on a shelf above eye line after the house was purchased. This 7' 0" 4-weight is in sublime condition with the paper and Abercrombie & Fitch sticker of $137.50 in place.
Charlton 8350C – 1/2 and 1/5 Spools
The smallest and lightest of the Charlton Reels, the 8350 has long been a favorite of trout fisherman. This is LHW. It is loaded with a 1/5 (3-5 wt line) and has a rare 1/2 (1-2 weight line) spare spool. This reel is a very high-end piece of machining.

Original condition. Paynes in this good of shape are rare to come by. Size 14 and 9 ferrules with a perfect fit. This rod is on the medium side of medium-fast with a delightful dry fly characteristic along with the buttery smooth aura of all Paynes.
Abel – Vaya 4/5 Brook Trout
This is in mint condition with the additional Brook Trout drag knob. This features a partially-ported frame for the perfect balance of weight, sound, and visual appeal. A 5-disc alternating carbon/stainless steel drag stack.
Edwards – Quadrate 7' 6" 5wt. Model #50
The blued ferrules are size 11 and 15 with a perfect fit. Tips measure at 0.0775. Medium-fast action. This rod comes from Dr. Paul Hermann's bamboo estate. In its original condition, with one tip replaced using Edwards bamboo.

This is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 5-weight line weighing 4.75 ounces. Maxwell's distinctive handwriting adorns the butt section. Up-locking nickel silver hardware with a hidden pocket under the bottom of the cork grip.
