Edwards, Bill - 7' 6" Quadrate #40

For your consideration is an Edwards Quadrate #40 bamboo fly rod. This 7’ 6” 2/2 4/5wt rod weighs 3.50 oz. and is in original condition. All sections are straight and full length.

Dark flame-tempered cane with deep crimson silks and black tipping. The distinguishing script remains bold. Squared tenite winding check. The 6" cork grip is soiled but remains very smooth. Cap and ring over cork seat – the ring fits snug. The ferrule is size 13 with a perfect fit. In my hand, the action is medium-fast. The rod is in original condition and recently rubbed out to a glossy shine. Original bag with later replacement Edwards tube for an 8' 0" rod.
