Fick, Rick – 7' 0" 4wt

For your consideration is a Rick Fick bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 0" 2/2 4wt weighing 4.15 oz. Serial number 0022. All sections are full length and straight.

This rod consists of tempered cane with deep ruby wraps tipped black. The cigar-shaped grip measures 6 inches in length and shows minor soiling, but remains smooth. The mortised burl reel seat complements the caramel cane and is fitted with a blued cap and ring. The ferrule fit is perfect. In my hand, the taper is on the quick side making it a sensible point-and-shoot pocket water rod with the capability to reach out on larger water. Original tube and bag.
