Hodge & Sons – Classic 1/2

For your consideration is a Hodge & Sons Classic 1/2 in RHW with a spare spool. This is a 2 7/8" diameter reel with a reel width of 1" weighing 3.95 ounces. Marked 1/2 on the side of the foot. Serial number 0010.

The reel shows no signs of use other than a small surface scratch on the back side plate. The spare spool looks new and has a line on it. Black anodized side plates with gold anodized rims and spool. These reels have a unique side-cover lock that enables you to change spools easily and pre-set the internal drag adjustment. The reel can be converted to LHW by Hodge & Sons for $150. I have been told you can find instructions to do this conversion online. Comes with a handsome Arne Mason case made for Hodge & Sons and these reels.
