Julius vom Hofe – Nickel Silver 2 5/8"

For your consideration is a Julius vom Hofe nickel silver fly reel. This is a 2 5/8" diameter frame to frame reel with a 1 3/16" frame width weighing 6.05 ounces.

This consists of a nickel silver frame, foot, and handle arm paired with rubber plates. Although made for RHW, the inbound and outbound resistance favors RHW only slightly so it can be used as LHW too. The rims remain in great condition with a few marks that would be the underside when mounted. There are no cracks or significant marks on the side plates. This is a wonderful piece of fly fishing history in great condition and priced reasonably.
