Karstetter, Marty – 7' 6" 4wt Hollow-Built

For your consideration is a brand new Marty Karstetter 7' 6" hollow-built fly rod. This is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 4-weight line weighing 3.15 ounces (marked 2 1/4 oz.). Serial Number 25221. Marty has not made many 7' 6" rods and these are well sought after and often listed for more than this one.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane constructed in a two opposed node pattern arranged in a spiral and has chestnut brown wraps with an agate stripping guide. The modified full-wells grip measures 5 3/4" in length and has a cap and ring with the cap stamped "Marty Karstetter Maker." In my hand, the action is on the fast side of medium fast. Includes the original tube and bag with snap.
