Kusse, Ron – 7' 6" 5wt

For your consideration is a Ron Kusse bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 6" 2/2 for a 5wt weighing 3.75 oz. All sections are full length and straight.

This consists of lightly tempered cane with translucent honey wraps with a few turns of burgundy near the winding check and on one tip for ease of rotation. The rod and 5 1/4" cork grip show little signs of use. The mortised reel seat is fitted with an antiqued sliding band and cap. There are a few small marks in the bluing of the female ferrule – the fit is perfect. In my hand the action is medium-fast. The tag reads 3.25 oz. but on my digital scale, it weighs 3.75 oz. The rod is fitted with the original bag, tube, tag, and ferrule plug.
