Kusse, Ron – Performance 6' 6" 4wt

For your consideration is a Ron Kusse Performance bamboo fly rod in unfished condition. This is a 6' 6" 2/2 for a 4wt weighing 3.15 oz. All sections are full length and straight.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane complimented with tan translucent wraps at the guides and mahogany wraps at the ferrules. The winding check is met with mahogany wraps accented with a few crimson turns. The cork handle retains the original paper wrapping. The mortised and beautifully modeled reel seat is fitted with antiqued hardware. In my hand, the rod is medium-fast and would be full flexing if not for the handsome swelled butt. Bag tag reads 2 1/2 oz. but on my scale, it is 3.15 oz. Original bag, tag, and tube. The cap is missing.
