For your consideration is an exceptional and very rarely seen Leonard 39L bamboo fly rod in original condition. This is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 3-weight line weighing 2.80 ounces. 

This consists of Leonard indicative straw colored cane with a handsome subtle swelled butt finished with crimson red wraps. Classic cigar grip measuring 5 1/2" in length shows very little use. The butternut insert is under the die stamped nickel silver cap and sliding band. In my hand, the action is medium-slow. The 39L is very light but a very practical rod where its brethren can by some be considered collectible and not fishable. Just wiggling this rod makes you want to search for a small stream.
