Leonard, H.L. – 40H

For your consideration is a Leonard Model 40H bamboo fly rod in original condition. This is an 8' 0" two-piece for a 7-weight line weighing 4.25 oz. All sections are full-length and straight. Some might like this with a 6-weight for long casts and an even quicker action.

This consists of Leonard indicative straw colored cane with crimson red wraps. Classic cigar grip measuring 6" in length with bright aluminum down-locking reel seat with butternut insert under properly die stamped nickel silver cap. In my hand, the action is on the fast side of medium-fast. There are some water marks in various areas of the blank.
