For your consideration is an H.L. Leonard Duracane 806 bamboo fly rod This is an 8’ 0” 2/2 5/6 wt., weighing 4.25 oz. SN 3282. All sections are full-length and straight.

The rod consists of lightly tempered bamboo with burgundy wraps tipped black. The 6-inch cigar grip has mild ridging. Down-locking black hardware over wood spacer. Size 13 ferrule with a perfect fit. In my hand, the action is on the medium side of medium-fast with a full progressive feeling into the lower butt section. This rod feels surprisingly light in hand compared to most 6 weight rods. I feel it would also fish a 5 weight line for some. In my opinion, Duracane models continue to be one of the most underrated tapers and one of the best buys.
