Orvis, C.F. – Battenkill 8' 0"

For sale is an Orvis Battenkill rod marked GBF (8). Most prefer Orvis’ rods with one line down from the specified designation. This is an 8’ 0” 2/2 7wt (or possibly 8wt) weighing 4 3/8 oz., SN 63492.

The rod is in excellent condition. Rich tempered impregnated cane. Size 13 ferrule. Cork grip remains smooth and unsoiled. Aluminum down-locking hardware shows little sign of use. Built by Ron White in September of 1971. Original tube and bag.
