Payne, E.F. - Model 100

Available to you is a Payne Model 100 bamboo fly rod made in Bend, Oregon. This is a 7' 6" 2/2, 4wt weighing 3.40 oz. All sections are full length and straight. Tag is marked as a 100L which suggests it can also be fished with a 3wt line.

This rod features medium tempered cane with with brown wraps tipped yellow. Blued cap and sliding band over Spanish cedar wood spacer. Payne style grip measuring 6 3/4" in length. Size 12 ferrule. The rod has a wonderful medium-fast dry fly characteristic but could be used as an all around rod too. Original bag and hang tag with labeled tube. Lawn cast only.
