Perfection – Fairy

For your consideration is a limited edition Perfection Fly Reel Company Fairy reel. The original William Mills Fairy was designed to be fished with the H.L. Leonard Fairy Catskill models and 'L' designated rods. This is a 2" diameter reel, not including the pillars (2.3125" with pillars), weighing only 2.55 ounces. Only 15 of these limited edition Perfection Fairy reels were produced in 2011.

The side plates are carved from hard rubber (ebonite) and the nickel silver pillars have shoulders just like the original William Mills reel. Nickel silver handle, foot, and screws. Stainless steel pawl. The reel favors right-hand retrieve but is very close to neutral. The small foot fits Leonard Baby Catskill reel seats and comes with a spare foot to fit a traditional sized reel seat.
