Robichaud, D.L. – 2 3/4”

For your consideration is a D.L. Robichaud 2 3/4” trout reel weighing 4.25 ounces. David Robichaud made classic S-style design reels from his shop in Hudson, New Hampshire, until the mid-1990s. His work is well-regarded, and his reels are not often available.

This reel has been lined, and the only signs of use are the marks on the reel seat from mounting it on a rod. If it has been fished, it was sparingly and well cared for. It is currently set for LHW but interchangeable. The removable back plate is ingenious—press in on the plate surface and make a slight turn. The reel comes in an Arne Mason leather clamshell case.
