Stevens, Brad – 7' 6" 5wt

For your consideration is a Brad Stevens Model 755 bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 6" two-piece for a 5-weight line weighing 3.45 oz. When the owner purchased this from Per Brandin, Per described Brad Stevens' work as exceptional. Per said, "from his first rod, it looked like he had been building for years." By examining the logotype Brad created for himself, one can gauge his level of creativity and high aesthetic sense. Per felt the taper was influenced by Dickerson and not just the use of the intermediates.

This rod consists of medium tempered cane with crimson red wraps tipped black. Dickerson style intermediates for measuring your catch at 7", 8", 9", 10" and 11" from the winding check. Grip measures 5 3/8" in length for classic proportions. Up-locking aluminum hardware. In my hand, the action is medium-fast. Brad Stevens was a hobbyist but made rods of the finest quality.
