Vardanis, Alex – 6'0" 2wt, The Fairy

For your consideration is an Alex Vardanis nodeless bamboo rod based on an F.E. Thomas Fairy model. This is a 6' 0" two-piece for a 2-weight line weighing 2.10 ounces. 

This rod consists of lightly tempered, nodeless cane with burnt orange wraps tipped ochre - Alex's signature combo which compliments the cane tones. The 5 1/2" half-wells grip is followed by a well selected choice of wood to match the tone of the bamboo. In my hand, the action is medium-fast with feeling deep into the rod.
