Clark, Mike – 7' 9" 5wt, Gierach Signature

For your consideration is a Mike Clark of South Creek Lmtd., Gierach Signature bamboo fly rod. This is a 7' 9" 3/2 for a 5wt weighing 4.25 oz. The Gierach Signature model serial numbers began at 001 and each rod is signed by John Gierach. All sections are full length and straight.

This rod consists of medium flamed cane finished with John's custom choices. It is adorned with an oak leaf engraved, antiqued blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with a maple burl spacer and cigar grip. The wraps are medium brown, double-tipped in gold silk with full antique style intermediate wraps in black. Ferrule fit is perfect. In my hand, the taper is medium-fast and full flexing.  

The Gierach Signature rod is a personal favorite of mine and this one has only been fished a handful of times. You won't find another for sale and you'll need to wait for three-years if you order one.
