For your consideration is an Alex Vardanis 6' 8" bamboo fly rod inspired by an early 6' 6" Special Browntone F.E. Thomas. This is built with nodeless construction. This is an 6' 8" two-piece for a 3 weight line weighing 2.70 ounces. 

This consists of medium tempered cane with mocha wraps tipped red – a very handsome combination with the blank tempering. The grip measures 5 1/2 inches with cap and ring over the spacer. In my hand, the action is on the medium side of medium-fast. Very nice varnish work. A nice light line rod from this London, Ontario builder.
