Marty Karstetter – 7' 6" 4wt. Hollow-built
Marty has not made very many 7' 6" rods and this one is brand new to boot. This is constructed in a two opposed node pattern arranged in a spiral three inches apart. It has chestnut brown wraps with an agate stripping guide. The modified full-wells grip measures 5 3/4" in length and has a cap and ring with the cap stamped "Marty Karstetter Maker."
H.L. Leonard – Catskill 4-Piece, 4Wt.
This is a very rare H.L. Leonard Catskill four-piece Tournament bamboo fly rod in original condition. This pre-fire rod is in exceptional shape. This is an 8' 0" four-piece for a 4-weight line weighing 3.75 oz. The stamp on the butt cap reads "H.L. Leonard Rod, Leonard & Mills Co. Makers, Tournament," which indicates this rod was made between 1890 and 1925.

For maintenance or to change the spool, removing the face plate is accomplished by easily turning each of the three large screws a 1/4 turn. The plate is spring loaded and easily removed – genius engineering.

For your consideration is a very rare Peerless BiMetal Model No.1 fly reel. This is a 2 3/4" diameter with a 1 5/16" frame width weighing 4.2 oz. for lines up to DT 4 plus backing. Fixed drag. This is set for RHW and is interchangeable.
